A&O Shearman knew the value diverse cultures bring to driving solutions and innovation. They wanted to increase the diversity of their early careers talent pool and make law truly accessible to everyone.
We recognised a large intersectionality between certain universities and students from underrepresented backgrounds. The strategy was to give those students enough resources to increase accessibility and challenge perceptions of elitism within law.
Through external engagement and internal initiatives, we began a cultural shift. Across our activations, we told real stories, engaged with students meaningfully, built their confidence, and shared knowledge and insights to break down barriers to application.
